Language usedGLP is conducted in English, and local-language interpretation is provided.
Registration informationRegistration closes 2 weeks before GLP starts, and applications are submitted after paying the registration fee and completing the basic digital training.
Director applicant requirementsTo register for facilitator training, you must have served in the field for at least 5 years and be recommended by a credible organization.
Facilitator applicant requirementsTo register for facilitator training, you must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent course/experience) and a recommendation from the director.
Facilitator recommendationA director may recommend up to 10 facilitators who will teach the classes.
Roles and responsibilitiesThe director serves as the principal who operates and manages the school, while the facilitator serves as the teacher who prepares and conducts the classes.
PositionsCompletion of the GLP is required to become a MicroSchool director or facilitator, and a director may also serve as a facilitator.
Attendance and assignment requirementsYou must attend at least 80% of the online GLP 90-minute x 6-week course, and submit reports on at least 80% of the two video lectures provided each week.
Evaluation and completionThose who meet the attendance and report requirements may take the qualification exam, and those who pass the exam will be awarded a certificate of completion.
Removal from positionIf a director or facilitator causes a serious problem, removal from position may be decided through consultation between GETT and the sending organization.6-week curriculum
